New thing this week: Obie and Tikka like to stare out the window together.
As many of you know, Obie in all of his om shanti shanti was not compelled to crawl - perfectly happy to be stationary, play with toys, read books, or babble emphatically. When we finally worked with him to start crawling, he seemed to be perpetually in reverse. Over the past few days, he has finally overcome the challenge and we are now moving forward (along with lots of cruising and pulling himself up on furniture)! Time to start baby proofing.
Obie's first birthday was on Sunday! We had family and friends over, ate cupcakes, opened presents, and cruised around the coffee table. Much fun was had by all.
